Ricoh R1

I watch film youtubers as one does and what caught my eye was that whilst reviewing plenty of point-and-shoots my point-and-shoot youtuber always stuck with one for actual usage.

And I understand why now. The ricoh is tiny (why did kodak even attempt APS), it has exactly what it needs to have and nothing more, its build-in lens is sharp when it needs to and despite mine sounding like a dying cat sometimes (I did that! I dropped it me fool) it has never let me down.

I bought it as "broken" (i.e. just needed a battery) and oftentimes even the LCD works! But yeah that camera is so small you forget that you have it on you, which makes it really handy to have "just in case". Since it pre-winds the film i'm never worried about the camera breaking on me, and the thing just has a charm.
